The Most Inspiring Interiors for the Month of August
As you all know Pinterest is a woman’s or man’s best friend for inspiration and ideas. I look forward to a certain time of day, every day, when I sit down in front of my computer and pin away! I can spend hours getting caught up in all of the inspiration and ideas. I seem to never tire of it. Its’ an amazing site that I know millions enjoy as much as me. Hope you get as inspired as I do from seeing some of what I have been pinning for the month of August!
Right now, I have several renovation projects going on and a kitchen remodel. I keep getting drawn to statement making stoves that set the tone of the entire kitchen. Here is one of my favorites! Look at those shiny, brass knobs that work so well with those matching cabinet pulls. The kitchen cabinet color blends seamlessly with the stove. And the hood is a winner!
I’ve also been drawn to a lot of texture in the kitchen. Backsplash that isn’t perfect looking, subway tile that looks handmade and has imperfections, and tile that has depth and color variations. Look at this kitchens stone wall! It’s perfect and filled with texture, color variation, and depth. I love the natural wood cabinets and those modern pendants put in the mix. The island helps bring it all together.
I saw this office and was stopped dead in my tracks. It’s simplicity is timeless. I love the light color for the space (not sure if it’s a white, grey or greige) and the vertical shiplap that is a bit thinner and gives the room a more transitional feel. The simple knobs and the single sconce just enhance the whole area. This place speaks to me!
Of course, what would August be without some outside spaces! Here is one I pinned that is filled with all of that same texture I keep dreaming about, lately. It’s warm and inviting. I love the stone surround combined with the stucco. It looks like the concept was inspired by Italy or France.
I’m still seeing lots of pools! I love this one with the gorgeous pool house as a backdrop. Couldn’t you just hang here all weekend long!
I love this little moment for this bedroom! The art is actually a wallpaper that was framed. The size of this piece creates a dreamlike escape and works so well with the custom bench. I’d put it in my baby’s room!
Hope you’ve enjoyed seeing my pins as much as I enjoy pinning them! Until next month! Pin away!
That’s all for now. See ya next time!
