Today, I’m sharing the Tuxedo Road Project. This was a fun design that involved changing the dining area off of the kitchen into a sitting area. Originally, the space had a large table with coordinating chairs that could soak up the view in the mornings.  We wanted to create a gathering spot to sit down and relax. The room’s huge windows provide a gorgeous view of the backyard. We decided to bring the outside in and use colors that would complement the landscape. We added beautiful, custom drapery that framed the windows and made you feel as if you were in a cocoon. The end result provided the perfect retreat for the whole family to gather and relax with each other in an intimate space.
