For this young family of two physicians who had just relocated to Atlanta, we set out to create a warm, lounge-like living space in their brand-new home—one that felt comfortable, elevated, and ready for real life with a little one. A generously sized, ultra-comfy sectional anchors the room, paired with a textured leather chair and a classic sisal rug with a contrast border—a favorite detail I often incorporate for its timeless appeal. We styled the shelves with a thoughtful mix of newly sourced pieces and personal items the family brought with them, adding both polish and personality to their space. It’s a space designed for unwinding, memory-making, and settling beautifully into their new chapter.
