#MDRedoneTraditional
The Redone Traditional project was a full-home renovation, thoughtfully updating key elements while preserving what already worked. In the kitchen, we kept the existing cabinets but gave them new life with a fresh coat of paint, a new backsplash, updated hardware and fixtures, and elegant quartzite countertops. Without altering the cabinet base, we extended the island top for more function and seating, paired with new counter stools. Appliances were kept, but finishes throughout were elevated. We refinished the floors, reupholstered the existing dining chairs, and updated the kitchen table setting. Bookshelves were painted to better align with the refreshed, open-concept palette. In the living area, we kept the original furniture but introduced a new rug and layout for a cleaner, more inviting feel. The dining room received fresh paint and newly stained floors, and though not shown in photos, the entire home—including the exterior—was repainted for a cohesive, elevated transformation.
