The Most Inspiring Interiors for the Month of January
Happy New Year! And what a start to the year it has already been! I kind of want a do-over based on what has been going on. Who’s with me on that? Even though the year has gotten off to a rocky start, I’m still feeling inspired when I go on to Pinterest and see what everyone is creating. The beautiful rooms that allow people to live with beauty, comfort and ease get me motivated to do the same thing for my clients. Here is what I’m loving right now!
This kitchen had me at HELLO! I mean, look at those gorgeous ceilings, beams and all! It’s never ending. Not to mention that floor. The dark contrast with the light wood cabinets and ceiling is beyond beautiful. Amber Interiors seems to get the mix right every single time. I don’t think there is one design of hers that I don’t love! I’m ready to move in. Anyone else?
Sometimes what seems simple, isn’t really simple at all! That’s what I see when I look at this entry. It seems fairly easy. A wood console topped with just the right amount of books. The ease of the perfect rectangular mirror leaning against it. The well curated branches poking out of just the right size jug. Well, most of us know that this look is not so simple to pull together. It certainly is worth all of the trouble because it is truly a showstopper!
I loved this idea when I saw it! It has a simple look, but makes a strong statement. I love the set-up of all the leather pouches containing simple sprigs of different greenery. It’s a great way to add art to your space without breaking the bank. It also has such an organic look which I especially love!
No inspiration would be complete without a wallpaper post! This one is beyond. That wallpaper! It’s a total stunner. It a beautiful statement that stays neutral. Not so easy to do these days. The gold mirror with the marble topped sink creates a powder room wrapped in elegance.
The last of my inspirations is this checkered floor. I mean, who doesn’t’ love this look! It seems to be appearing in a lot of homes, lately. It adds a layer of sophistication to the kitchen and breaks up the space from the rest of the house. It’s not your typical tile or wood floor. With all the white and light wood tones it’s especially beautiful.
That’s all for now. See ya next time!
