The Most Inspiring Interiors for the Month of October

I can’t believe it’s already October. Time certainly flies by the older I get. Before you know the holidays will be here. I hope everyone is staying safe and well, right now. Here is what I’m loving and finding inspiring this month.

Fall is here and I’m being attracted to all kinds of coziness. Obviously, this room has that vibe, but I’m really attracted to all of the great lighting. I love those modern sconces above the bed combined with that fabulous overhead light. It sets the stage for a great night’s sleep.

Fireplaces always remind me of the Fall. It’s a treat to sit and relax in front of one and smell those embers warming up the room. This one made of stone that looks like it might have been white washed is a beauty with that simple wood mantel. It would be the perfect night to snuggle under a blanket and watch some good ‘ole tv for the night.

Rounded archways add a ton of interest and beauty to a home. They are softer and add an extra detail. This one is gorgeous letting you see that beautiful kitchen with all that marble backsplash. I also really like how this archway mimics the window arches. It adds consistency of repeated patterns throughout the home.

Here’s another fireplace that caught my eye. Look at how the mantel goes around the sides of it. First, the wood is gorgeous. It looks like old beams. Second, by following the lines of the fireplace it ties in even more to the beams on the ceiling. Unusual, but I like it!

Ok, now this is just plain, ole magnificent! Look a that view! Wow! Can you imagine it being right outside of your door? The country side looks even better sitting under the trellis of ivy. I’d be happy here, forever!

Ending my pins this month with this kitchen! It’s beautiful and spacious and they used my favorite pendants of all time. It has tons of natural light accented with black windows. I love the slight contrast between the grey cabinet color and the black stone counters. The wood beams with the wood floors add a ton of warmth to an already inviting space.

That’s all for now. See ya next time!
