Do you want to see a good before and after?

Every house needs a pretty bath. Whether it’s a powder room or a main bath, a home needs a beautiful space to excuse themselves for a minute. It’s also a great area to make a small room speak large with design. I, recently, had the chance to do exactly that: renovate a small bath on my client’s main floor.

In renovating the space, it was important to the client that the bathroom be pretty for entertaining guests as well as useful when she had overnight company. She knew it would not be a heavily used bathroom, but would be more for entertaining. We needed to make sure it had all the necessities of a bathroom, but also be beautiful.

The holidays are literally, here! I can’t believe how quickly they creeped up on me. I think I say this every year. I feel we all get so busy with our lives that the end of the year is upon us within a blink of an eye. I remember when my mother used to tell me as a teenager how quickly time will pass. I couldn’t get it to pass quick enough to grow up and go to college. Now, all I want is for time to slow down.

A Family Room: Before & After!

Family rooms can be the hub of the home especially when they are connected to a kitchen. It’s where everyone comes in and plops down to relax. Some never leave until it’s bedtime. It needs to have comfy furniture, a good seating arrangement and durable pieces to take the wear and tear of family, friends and even pets. We just wrapped up a project that turned an outdated family room into a comfortable, hang out that everyone can enjoy.
